Private Client Solicitor

Sewell Mullings Logie LLP are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its highly regarded Estates and Trusts Team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years private client PQE, Full STEP membership and a proven background in good quality and HNW private client matters.  The caseload at our Firm is diverse and will include long term estate and capital tax planning and regular review, trust, wills and probate work.

Experience of senior associate level work would be preferred, but not essential.

Specialised knowledge of Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax would be looked on favourably, particularly if the solicitor has a working knowledge of Agricultural and Business Property Reliefs. There will be opportunity to market these skills and acquire new clients within the Cotswolds.

Office Administrator

Contract: Full time

Salary: £16,000.00 per annum

Working hours: 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Monday to Friday

The role requires you to assist with daily tasks in running the administrative sector of the firm.  These will include: logging documents on databases, managing and distributing files across the firm and in off-site storage, excellent maintenance and attention to detail of several electronic archives, arranging online orders and working on reception.  The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, good communication and telephone manner and the ability to prioritise under pressure.  

Ideally, experience in Microsoft, particularly Excel would be preferable, and a reasonable level of physical strength will be beneficial as the role includes some heavy lifting.  A driving licence and vehicle is required as the role involves visiting storage units off site and retrieving documents. 

A minimum of 5 GCSE’s A* - C or equivalent would be preferable.

The role does not require extensive previous administrative experience as training will be supplied.
